server.cfg can be found inside the game directory's cfg folder.

[edit] CVAR: rcon_password

Usage:

rcon_password "mypassword"

• Your password would replace "mypassword" include the quotation marks

[edit] Purpose

This is the rcon administration password. This is required for running admin commands that would affect the server.

[edit] Authenticating Using RCON in game

Run the following command to authenticate yourself in console.

rcon_password mypassword

After you authenticate yourself, you can run admin commands. For example...

rcon changelevel de_dust2
